Eli is currently crawling around me, screaming at anything that will listen. So far, my pen set case is doing a pretty good job. Thanks pen case for taking one for the team, I owe you one.
Today was really good (of course it would be good...its Kim's Birthday! Happy Birthday!). We went swimming, and I swam with the monster today. Again, all he wanted to do was climb up me to get to the wall and jump back in. This time he didn't barf, so we're pretty happy about that.
After swimming, we got some lunch and had a picnic at the dog park, hoping that there would be some dogs, but there were none. We had the whole place to ourselves, which worked out. We set Eli in the grass, and he just did not know what to do with himself. At first, he softly ran his hand over it, but that didn't last long because Eli really isn't into softly doing anything, so he went on to smashing it down with his open hand. I am proud to say that not once did he try and eat the grass. Maybe we're turning a new leaf, one that doesn't require that EVERYTHING go into the mouth in order to accept that it really exists.

I'm glad that all worked out fine and everyone feels better. Looks like Eli had a good time being thrown around like that. Happy first mom's day!!
