For the most part, yesterday was really good. I've been trying to put Eli on more of a rigid sleep schedule with the hopes that this will help everyone's favorite insomniac sleep a little better. And it seems to be working. Prior to this, we would put Eli to bed when he started showing signs of being sleepy, and this method used to work pretty darn well, but not anymore. Anyway, he seems to not put up as much of a fight when I put him to bed before he starts acting tired, except when we try to put him down at night. He still fights us on that one and it's been taking us over an hour to get him to go to sleep at night.
Back to the goodness of yesterday. He took his naps fairly well, and then we went to the park with Galen and Julie. We had the boys in the sand box, and I gave Eli a truck so he could spin the wheels, but he wanted nothing to do with it, because he was too busy watching Galen with a silly little half smile on his face. It was so cute. And Galen now says Eli's name, and that's so cool. Eli wanted to follow Galen all around the park, but since he can't walk on his own yet, I had to walk him around, and even then we were way too slow to catch up with him.
I am hoping to sign Eli and me up for the Mommy and Me tumbling class in July. Julie and Galen are taking it, and Eli should be walking by that point, so it should be really fun. Or dorky. We'll see.

Yep hes at that age when going to bed on time is not his thing. You just have to be patient (no pulling your hair out) and find some way of getting him to bed. Of course, when all else fails ask your Mom.
