My god this kid drools a lot. I'm truely suprised that he doesn't look like a dried up old prune considering all the fluid he looses during a day.
Today, Eli and I went to the second hand children's store to pick up some toys to bring to Nani and Grandpa's house. We came home with this table that has a bunch of things Eli can press and flip and spin and all that other stuff that babies like to do. And of course, it plays a million songs that change every time you practically look at the damn thing. Which makes me crazy. The people who design these things HAVE to know that a 9 month old isn't going to wait out the whole song without spinning the little rolly thing over and over again, thus causing his mother to have to listen to no more than three notes of each of the ten songs in less than thirty seconds. And people wonder why our children have such short attention spans...
Anyway...the great thing about his new toy is that he can pull himself up while he's holding it. And he has to stand up if he wants to play with it, which he LOVES. You can tell that he feels like he's such a cool kid when he's standing without anyone's help.
Oh! I almost forgot! Today, Eli did the cutes thing...he licked my face, and to make a cute situation cuter, he would giggle every time he did it. I think he's been hanging out with Bazil a little too much...

He's styling,Ough,a possible breakthrough. This could lead to "toddlerhood."
Look out Jen he may be crawling before too long, then standing, after that you will be one worn out mommy.
A modern day Mozart---mix those tunes as fast as you can.
