Today Franz had his cortisone shot. According to his doctor, this shot should make all the pain in Franz's neck/back go away. We can't wait for that to happen, because as he is right now, he has a really hard time doing pretty much everything. The most heartbreaking aspect of the car accident is that Franz finds it difficult to play with Eli. Hopefully this shot will put an end to that.
Currently, Franz is feeling kinda crappy. The doctor said that this is to be expected, but he should be totally better in a couple of days.
Franz's appointment wasn't until this afternoon, so Eli got some good dad time in. Eli lights up every time Franz walks in the room (I do not inspire such a reaction and I am in no way at all, even just a little bit jealous. Not one bit. Grrrrr), so Eli thought it was pretty great that he had his dad around a little more than usual today.

Where's my cigar Ma.
That person makes such annoying comments!
Sounds like a fun time wish I were there!
It's Buckey Beaver!
Buckey who?
OK, this dates me.. Buckey Beaver used to be the character on TV that promoted IPana toothpaste. He had nice polished front teeth---two of them.
Oh like in that movie "Grease" where they do that scene with the TV commercial. Well Eli has more than two teeth.
Oh boy girl scout cookies save me some thin mints!!
Didn't see grease---a bunch of punks. Need to see "The Lords of Flatbush"---with Winkler and Stallone, before they were even close to being famous; you can see where they got their characters from and used in later roles.
Grease is not a bunch of punks. Why dont you see "Rumble Fish" you may like it.
OK, a bunch of singing dips.
There is no singing in Rumble Fish.
Sounds like fighting Flounders!
