Eli's first Superbowl

First off, THE STEELERS WON THE SUPERBOWL! Ha Ha, Grandpa Dill! Take that!

We had a full house yesterday, and sadly, we were a minority in our own home. Grandpa Ravi, Phil, Irene, Nathan, and Will all wanted the Seahawks to win. Nani, Kim, and Dick didn't care, they were just along for the food (which was so yummy, thanks Phil for making kick ass chili, Kim for making rice krispy treats, which were so good dipped in chocolate, and Irene for the rice salad, which was under appreciated as everyone silently loved it). And after much screaming (mainly from me, yeah...that was embarassing) the Steelers prevailed, and Franz, Eli and I are still glowing.

During this whole fiasco, Eli did suprisingly well. I thought that all the yelling and people would freak him out a little, but he didn't even seem bothered by it. He did have a couple of firsts in the food department: chocolate, which he LOVED. I dipped some on my finger and gave it to him, and he would take a little off at a time, as if he knew that this was something to savor. He also had a little chili, and he suprised me with the lack of poopy face; he actually seemed to like it. Go figure.

You forgot the beer. Did you get the specialty brew, "Iron City" out of Pittiesburg?

Eli tried to represent as much as he could. Unfortunatley, nap time for him put our Steelers section a man down. Refreshed, he came back and supported with a fury and they won! It's all about Eli's lucky Nemo keys!

Thanks so much for having us over, you guys!! We had a great time! I was fully expecting to see the Eli as Polamalu for the front page picture! That was hilarious! Thank you again, it was a lot of fun!
