We were super busy this weekend. Saturday, we went to a beautiful wedding in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. While all the bridesmaids and groomsmen were walking down the isle, Eli tried to say "hi" to all of them. It was too cute. He had a hard time grasping the fact that this was a time that talking wasn't appropriate. And he didn't understand that at all because we typically encourage him to talk all the time. All I can say is that we were lucky that the wedding was outside.
At the reception, Franz and I took turns entertaining Eli. I spent a while with him spinning the wheels on his stroller and dancing with him (he's so light on his feet!). Franz took him down the empty halls so he could walk and hear the sound of his echoing voice. Since the wedding was later in the day, Eli stayed up way past his bedtime, and he wasn't too thrilled about it, though the wedding cake helped quite a bit to keep him happy.
Sunday, we went to the San Mateo County Fair with Nani, Grandpa and Sona. Eli had a blast. Franz won him a gold fish that Eli named "Fee". He also got to go on some rides and saw a bunch of cool farm animals. He also tried a ton of fair food and we found out that he's pretty fond of cotton candy. And funnel cake. And Kettle Corn. And everything else we gave him. There wasn't anything that he didn't like. And who could blame him? All of those things are delicious.

Got ahold of Mr. Greenie Pastique. A well mannered horse.
Eli has a foam horsey. It arrives Saturday night after a LONG ride south.....
