Yesterday, we went to the A's game because Grandpa Ravi got us Skybox tickets. It was so cool...there was all this food (hotdogs, chicken, mashed potatoes, chips, popcorn, brownies, and cookies) and we had the best view possible. We figured that Eli would have a good time because we weren't exposed to all the yelling and screaming, and for once, we were right.
Eli had a really good time. Nani managed to get Eli to eat an entire hotdog and a bunch of popcorn. The Skybox next to us was occupied by a little boy's birthday party, which turned out to be a really expensive pillow fight. The boys were armed with inflatable bats that they used to constantly beat each other with. Eli looked at the boys with complete awe and jealousy. He kept toddling over to their box to get a closer look at the action. He might have been drawn to the balloons that they had all over the place too. Grandpa was savy enough to snag him a couple, which made Eli's entire day. He was exhausted because he only took a 45 minute nap (what is it with him and not sleeping durning the day???) , but those balloons kept him at bay so the rest of us could watch the A's get their butts kicked. And you know what? It didn't matter that they lost, because I had a bunch of delicious food, great company, and my son wasn't screaming. What more could you ask for?

Eli is watching the fly ball...
He is just awestruck at the ballon.
