We had quite the busy day yesterday. First, we visited Kim at work and brought her lunch and coffee. It turns out that Eli really loves licking the condensation off of Kim's latte. But really loves it. He spent a solid ten minutes pretty much making out with her cup. We cried, we laughed so hard. It took me way too long to realize that the cold cup probably felt really good on his gums, and that made me feel so much better because I was afraid that my son was developing an unhealthy relationship with cups containing iced beverages.
After lunch with Kim, we were going to meet up with Galen and Julie at a pumpkin patch, but couldn't as it started raining, so we went to their house instead. Both boys had short naps earlier in the day, making them both really tired/hyper. Galen was so excited to see Eli, he couldn't stop backing into him, and Eli was in his quiet, taking in everything mode that he gets when he's around older kids. They ended up playing chase around a chair, and I was suprised to see how fast Eli could run. It won't be long before Franz has a running partner.
